Catching Up . . .

So I clearly haven't kept up with this fantastic idea of a blog!  I'm about 2 years behind!  Alot has happened in those 2 years!  Let's try to get reaquainted . . .

Look Whoooo Turned 1!!!

Since little miss Sophia decided she was ready to come early last year, she's now stuck having a birthday the same week as Thanksgiving.  We are used to having parties for Bella in the summer when we can be outside, BBQ, and go to the Aquatic Center!  We weren't quite sure what to do for a party in the winter, considering our house is too small to host a big party inside.

We decided on the golf club.  Since Robbie is a member, we didn't have to pay to rent the space, just for food.  The place worked out perfectly!  We had the Wii set up on one end of the room for the kids to play, the big "kids" were on the other end of the room with the bar, and another area had board games and cards set up.  We all had a really good time.

Yes, I worked HARD on those owls!  They were so cute!!!

The cupcake set up . . .

Having some snacks at the start of the party.

You want me to do what with this thing???

Oh yeah, my pinata!!!

Go Hawks!

We are Seahawk fans, even when they aren't doing so well.  Robbie is a bit . . . well, fanatical.  He plans things around football like my dad plans things around hunting!  Robbie bought Isa (our niece) a Seahawk jersey onesie when she was a baby.  We borrowed it for Soph this season.  She looked so cute!!!

Grrrr . . . we're tough!

It's even mom's favorite player!

Hey Rosie, wanna play?

Ok, fine, I'll play with Lili!

Autumn Leaves are Falling

Papi took Sophia to help him shake the leaves off the trees in our yard.  He was tired of waiting for them to fall off on their own.  Soph thought it was great!

Halloween

Bella decided she didn't want to be anything "cute" this year.  She wanted to be a witch.  It wasn't my favorite costume, but she ended up being a pretty darn cute "disco witch," as she called herself.

I decided Sophia was going to be a lion, in honor of our last name!  It was a super cute costume!  Unfortunately, she had the flu and was throwing up all day.  :(  Poor baby!  Here she is anyway!

And my girls together . . .

Pumpkin Carving

Ok, I FINALLY downloaded all of the pictures off my camera!  I know, I know, it took way too long.  So, let's start with carving pumpkins!

We had some friends over this year for pumpkin carving.  Ty boy took things pretty seriously and came with his stencil pages and little carving gadgets!  The kids really got into things, even the babies!  BJ's new "puppy," Moose, even had a good time.  He got so excited he peed all over the kitchen floor!

Here are some pictures of the process, and the final products!

Yes, my husband is wearing rubber gloves to clean out the pumpkin . . .

Bella dug right in!
